Joanna Brown

Joanna Brown has a wealth of experience in the medical and operational fields. Joanna began their career in 2008 as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Arizona Medical Center. During their time there, they became a new-graduate preceptor, charge nurse, and participated in the NICU partnership committee. In 2011, they moved to Georgetown University Hospital and worked as a Registered Nurse Clinician in the NICU, where they obtained their RNC-NIC Certification and joined the ECMO team. In 2014, they co-founded Entrepreneurial Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm, and acted as the principal spokeswoman, creative director, and chief designer. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Baby+Co. as an Operations Consultant and Registered Nurse while pursuing their Masters in Nursing - WHNP. In their role, they increased operational efficiencies across centers, developed standard operating procedures, and developed additional operational structure. Joanna also served as the Center Manager, where they were responsible for the overall operational performance and strategic direction of the Birth Center. In 2021, they began their current role as the Director of Product Operations at Diana Health.

Joanna Brown completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Sports Medicine from the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University in 2006. Joanna then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business in 2013 and graduated in 2015. Most recently, they obtained their Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2020, with a focus on Women's Health.
