Ken Johnston has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 with Bloomberg as a Terminal Sales Foreign Exchange Specialist. Ken then moved on to Google Inc. in 2006, where they worked as a Senior Account Executive in their Financial Services division. In 2010, Ken joined Dianomi as the VP of Sales for North America and stayed with the company until 2014. Ken then took on the role of Director of Global Brand Partnerships at Quantcast from 2014 to 2016. Ken then joined Meta as an Industry Manager in Financial Services from 2016 to 2017, after which they became a Client Partner for Financial Services until 2017. Ken also served as a Board Member for the Financial Communications Society from 2016 to 2021. In January 2023, Ken founded their own company, Kennect Advisors, LLC, where they hold the position of Founder and CEO. Alongside, they work as an Advisor at Captiv8 from February 2023 and as the Global Head of Sales at Dianomi, starting from April 2023.

Ken Johnston obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College, studying from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Manhasset High School from 1991 to 1995. Ken then pursued an MBA in International Business at École des Ponts Business School and the Fox School of Business at Temple University, studying from 2005 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Ken holds various certifications. Ken obtained a Facebook Certified Creative Strategy Professional certification from Meta in December 2021. Ken also holds an Implementing Winning Strategies Certificate from Columbia Business School Executive Education, obtained in March 2019. Furthermore, they possess an Advanced Negotiations Certificate from The Wharton School, although the specific details of its acquisition are unknown.
