Christine Smith

Christine has more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical development providing professional expertise in the chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) area from the pre-clinical stage through commercialization. Christine has had hands-on experience in the areas of active ingredient, formulation, process, manufacturing, analytical methods, regulatory strategy, quality, and technical writing. She has experience working with peptides, proteins, antibody-drug conjugates, small-molecules, parenterals, orals, non-conventional formulations, and drug-device combination products.

For the past 10 years Christine has been an owner and principal at Pharmalytical Consulting LLC providing CMC expertise to companies with a variety of clinical indications. Prior to consulting, Christine served as Executive Director, Product Development at Amylin Pharmaceuticals where she led all aspects of CMC department.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics & Chemistry from Trinity University; and a Masters of Science in Environmental Engineering Science and Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the California Institute of Technology.
