David Jakobsson

David Jakobsson has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and software development. David started their career as a Software Developer at Skånes universitetssjukhus, where they worked on a research and development project focused on decision support systems in nuclear medicine. David then joined EXINI Diagnostics as a Senior Software Developer & Project Manager, where they developed AI methods for automated analysis of medical images. After that, they worked at Agfa Healthcare as a Technical Project Specialist, implementing and customizing healthcare IT solutions. Currently, they are a Vice President of IT at Diaverum, leading a team of around 40 members in building digital solutions for renal healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.

David Jakobsson completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics from Lund Institute of Technology between 2000 and 2004. In 2012, they attended Örebro University for a brief period to study Datateknik B, specializing in Mobile Applications with Android. Lastly, in 2021, they took a course on Machine Learning in Business at MIT Sloan School of Management.
