Tarja Widell

Tarja Widell has an extensive background in the travel industry. Tarja began their career in 1996 as a Travel Sales Consultant for Ticket Privatresor. In 1998, they became the Travel Agency Manager for Tournee resebyrå f.d Motormännens resebyrå. In 2001, they joined Travelocity as a Sales and Marketing Manager and was later promoted to General Manager Travelocity Nordic, where they were responsible for P/L optimization and leading the management team. In 2008, they moved to Hansen Event & Conference as the Sales & Marketing Director. In 2020, they became a Board Member of SRF The Swedish Travel Industry Association / Svenska Resebranschföreningen. Most recently, in 2021, they joined DIB Travel as the Business Area Director.

Tarja Widell attended Handelshögskolan vid Goteborgs universitet & Akademi Båstad from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Leadership with a focus on Strategiskt ledarskap. In 2021, they completed the CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School.
