James Davis Jr.

James Davis Jr. possesses extensive experience in education and athletics, currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher and Head Basketball Coach at Diboll Independent School District since July 2016, while also taking on the role of Assistant Football Coach for wide receivers. Prior to this, James worked as a 6th Grade Math Teacher and Coach at Crockett ISD, where responsibilities included assistant coaching for football and basketball. James's athletic background includes playing as a wide receiver for the Colorado Ice Indoor Football Team and experience as an Apollo 20 Fellow at Houston ISD, focusing on teaching 9th grade math and basic skills. Early career roles also include mentoring and coaching for the Youth Impact Program and positions at YMCA of Greater Houston and Toyota. Academically, James holds a degree in General Studies with concentrations in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas Southern University and a high school diploma from Lufkin High School.
