Christopher J. Harrer

Christopher J. Harrer is a Financial Advisor with UBS Financial Services, Inc. Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Harrer serves as a primary trusted advisor to high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and business executives, offering investment management, trust and estate, and succession planning direction as well as private and business banking services.

Mr. Harrer, who joined Didi Hirsch’s Board of Directors in 2014, has a lifelong connection to the agency. His mother, Patricia Harrer, served on the Board for 20 years before she passed away in 2004. She was a close friend of Didi Hirsch, the social worker and benefactor for whom the agency was named.

An accomplished entrepreneur and educator, Mr. Harrer has been an adjunct faculty member for the USC Marshall School of Business since 2002, and was awarded the student voted Golden Apple Teaching Award. He founded United Document Storage LLC (UDS), which operates off-site document storage, shredding and other services, where is was the President and Chief Executive Officer. He is also the founder and former President and Chief Executive Officer of PCH Ventures LLC and Pacifico’s LLC, real estate and restaurant holding companies.

A third generation from Los Angeles, Mr. Harrer earned an MBA and MSBA degrees from the University of Southern California and a BBA degree from Loyola Marymount University. He is chair of Didi Hirsch’s Nominating & Governance Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee and twice has been the chair of the Erasing the Stigma Awards Gala. Mr. Harrer has served on several boards of directors for the University of Southern California and was a past president of the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. He also serves on the board of directors of Stability, LLC and is a member of Rotary Club. Mr. Harrer and his wife live in Malibu and have four children.
