Erik Zevenbergen

Erik Zevenbergen has extensive experience in educational leadership and governance. Currently serving as Voorzitter raad van toezicht at Koninklijke Auris Groep and as Bestuursvoorzitter for the Nederlandse Vereniging van Dierentuinen since December 2018, Erik also holds positions as Bestuurslid at Club Van Elf and Volksuniversiteit Rotterdam, along with Directeur-bestuurder at Diergaarde Blijdorp - Rotterdam Zoo. Previous roles include Rector ad interim at Thorbecke Voortgezet Onderwijs, Voorzitter of TechForce Rijnmond, and Bestuurslid at Beta Challenge. Erik’s educational background includes studies at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by a long tenure at Libanon Lyceum where roles included Rector, Conrector, and Docent economie.
