Ludo S.C. Gielen is an accomplished professional in the field of sustainable packaging and business development, currently serving as the Creative Director of Sustainable Packaging at BoxxBack B.V. since January 2024. Gielen has held significant positions within Schoeller Allibert Group from 1996 to 2022, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Strategic Growth Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer, spearheading various growth initiatives and innovations in Returnable Transit Packaging. In addition to roles at Schoeller, Gielen has been involved as a shareholder in multiple companies including Blue Oceans XL and D’Ieteren Group. Gielen's entrepreneurial spirit is evident from founding BiPP Plastic Pallets in 1996, which later became Schoeller Allibert Belgium after a successful growth strategy. Educational qualifications include a degree in Chemicals and Polymers and an Executive Master in Corporate Finance from Vlerick Business School.
