Salma S. is an experienced data privacy and protection professional with over 10 years of expertise in governance and compliance. Currently serving as a Data Protection Manager at DIFC since October 2024, Salma previously held roles such as Senior Privacy Consultant at Woodbury FZ-LLC, where responsibilities included conducting data privacy assessments across the GCC region. As a Data Privacy Specialist with LegalWorks Nordic, Salma supported clients in developing data protection compliance roadmaps and maintaining privacy frameworks. Salma also served as Global Data Protection Officer for NCAB Group and co-founded Woodbury AB, focusing on IT project management services while promoting privacy compliance in accordance with GDPR regulations. Salma has a BA (Hons) in Social Policy with Politics from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a PGDL in Law from BPP Law School.
