Hai-Long Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Hai-Long started their career in 2009 as a Software Developer at Ericsson. From there, they worked at Research In Motion as a Software Tools Developer in 2010, and then joined InterDigital Communications as a Wireless Software Developer from 2011 to 2012.
In 2012, Hai-Long transitioned to Morgan Stanley, where they became a member of the Virtualization Engineering team. During their time there, they conducted a Scrum team, built software for the firm's internal IaaS solution, and played a significant role in developing Venn, an open-source project for resource and capacity management.
After leaving Morgan Stanley in 2015, Hai-Long joined the Canadian Armed Forces as part of their Communications & Information Systems division, where they worked until 2015. Following their military service, they joined Diff in 2014 as the Director of System Integrations. In this role, they led a team of over 30 software professionals and was responsible for solving business problems, integrating systems, and creating software applications to support eCommerce sales.
In August 2020, Hai-Long took on a new position within Diff as the Director of Service Delivery & Principal Consultant, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software solutions and integration.
Hai-Long Nguyen completed their Diploma of College Studies in Health Sciences at Marianopolis College from 2006 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Concordia University where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from 2008 to 2012.
