Samik Bagchi Ph.D., Bces

Samik Bagchi, PhD, BCES has extensive experience in the field of environmental engineering and research. Samik is currently serving as the Director of Innovation at Digested Organics, where they lead the company's efforts in developing innovative solutions. Prior to this role, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Digested Organics.

Samik has also held various research and academic positions throughout their career. Samik worked as an Associate Researcher at The University of Kansas, leading the Center for Metagenomic Microbial Community Analysis and conducting research on micropollutants and deammonification. Before that, they served as a Post-doctoral Fellow at KAUST, spearheading research on the anammox process and supervising PhD students and researchers. Samik also worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Ghent University, where they focused on project development and optimization of bioreactor processes.

Samik Bagchi then attended the National Law School of India University from 2008 to 2009, earning a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Right Law (PGDIPRL) with a specialization in Intellectual Property Right. Samik further advanced their studies and completed their doctoral degree in Environmental Microbiology from Nagpur University between 2007 and 2010, where their research interests were focused.
