Hannu Arvelo

Hannu Arvelo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Hannu is currently serving as the Vice President of Secure and Scalable Solutions at Digia Plc, a position they have held since 2019. Hannu is also the Chairman of the Board and Founder of Velocor since 2003. Prior to these roles, they worked at Tieto in various capacities including Director of Omni Experience Business Unit, Head of Digital Marketing, Content and Analytics Solutions Business, Solution Head of Customer Analytics and Insight, Head of Business Development and New Customer Sales, Head of Strategy and Offering of Mobile Devices, and Director of Digital Media. Before Tieto, Hannu served as the Business Development Director, Board Member, and Co-founder at Wificom Technologies, CTO, Board Member, and Co-founder at RTS Networks PLC, Consultant at Accenture, CEO, Founder, and Board Member at Avercom, and Software Developer at VATT.

Hannu Arvelo obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Technology, Industrial Management, and Telecommunications from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 1991 to 1997.
