Mikko Hakola

Mikko Hakola has a strong background in business development and management, particularly in the field of integration and API services. Mikko has held various leadership positions at Digia Plc, starting in 2012 as a Sales Manager and progressing to roles such as Head of SIAM Services, Head of Development, and Director of iPaaS & OpenSource. In these roles, they were responsible for P&L, strategic planning and execution, team supervision, and customer deliveries. Mikko also has experience in consultative selling, account management, and contract negotiations. Prior to their time at Digia Plc, they worked at Oscar Software Oy as a Key Account and Project Manager, where they handled ERP and eCommerce implementation projects and contributed to business and marketing planning. Mikko also served as a Member of the Board at Future Peaks Oy and worked as a Management Consultant Trainee at Deloitte. Mikko began their career as a Project Coordinator at Oscar Software Oy.

Mikko Hakola has a Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Business and Technology Management from Tampere University of Technology, which they received between 2003 and 2009. Mikko also has a Master of Science (Econ. and Bus. Adm.) degree in the School of Economics and Business Administration from the University of Tampere, which they obtained between 2006 and 2011. Additionally, they completed their National Military Service at the Reserve Officer School 221 in 2003 and holds a High School Diploma in Matriculation Examination from Kankaanpään lukio, which they earned between 1999 and 2002.

In terms of certifications, they obtained Azure Fundamentals training from Sovelto Oyj in 2020, and in 2019, they completed the DiVe - Digia's Influential Supervisors program from Miltton Sparks. In 2018, they received certification in Service Integration and Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner, and in DevOps training from Wakaru Oy. Mikko also completed the Insight Selling - Rumble in the Jungle program from IntoLead in 2016 and obtained Value Sales training from Business Improvement Generators Oy in 2014.
