Samuli Savolainen

Samuli Savolainen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Samuli began their career at CERN as an intern in the Technology Transfer Office. Samuli then joined Nokia Networks as a Product Marketing Manager and later as a Manager of Product Management. At Nokia, they also worked as a Senior Manager in Consumer Insights & Marketing Strategy and Business Development.

Samuli then moved on to SongHi Entertainment Ltd, where they served as the Director of Product Development. Following that, they joined SC5 Online Oy as the Head of Production, responsible for software development, resourcing, and sales support. Samuli later became the Head of Operations and Partner, overseeing operational development, marketing, and people operations.

In 2016, Samuli became a Member of the Board at Better Digital Services Finland Ry before joining Nordcloud. At Nordcloud, they held various roles, including Head of Operational Transformation, Vice President of Global Delivery, and Vice President of Cloud Implementation. In their last role, they served as Vice President of Public Cloud. Currently, Samuli is working at Digia Plc as the Vice President of Operations, leading strategic ventures and operational management for their business unit.

Samuli Savolainen completed their Matriculation Exam at Nurmijärven Yhteiskoulu in 1991. Samuli then pursued a Master's Degree in Physics / Marketing & International Business Strategy at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1991 to 2000. In addition, they obtained a High School Diploma from Triton High School in Byfield, Massachusetts, USA in the academic year 1989-1990.
