Teemu Lehtonen

Teemu Lehtonen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over many years. Teemu is currently serving as the Vice President Expert of Security & Public Cloud Technologies at Digia Plc since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Jack of all trades in 2019, and Director Group Cloud Center of Excellence and Chief Information Security Officer at Posti Group Oyj from 2019 to 2022.

Earlier in their career, Lehtonen served as the CTO at Ercomedics Oy from 2017 to 2022 and the Chief Information Security Officer, Director of Multicloud Core Infra & Security, and Senior Cloud Architect at Nordcloud from 2016 to 2019. Teemu worked as a Security Architect at TeliaSonera in 2014, Systems Engineer at Fortinet from 2013 to 2014, and held various roles at Nokia, including Marketing Manager, Demos, Senior Manager Market Operations, Sr Solutions expert, Senior Product Security Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Senior Solutions Consultant.

Lehtonen began their career at F-Secure, where they served as a Senior Product Manager and Firewall Routing Consultant from 1997 to 1999. Teemu also worked as a Technical Manager at Avantcomp from 1995 to 1997.

Teemu Lehtonen attended Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1987 to 1999, where they studied aeroplane construction and design. Teemu also completed their secondary education at Harjavallan Lukio. In 2023, they obtained the certification of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)².
