John Freedman

John Freedman has a strong background in technical writing and user experience. John worked at DigiCert, Inc. as a Senior Principal User Experience Writer starting in December 2017. Prior to that, they held the same position at Symantec from August 2010. At Symantec, they focused on optimizing the customer experience through UI content and technical documentation. John also developed content strategies and contributed to interaction design and user research. Before joining Symantec, John worked at VeriSign Inc. as a Technical Writer III for nine years, where they wrote UI content, managed content properties, and coordinated localization. John started their career at Zoho Corporation as a Senior Technical Writer from July 2000 to May 2001, and at Financial Navigator, Inc. as a Technical Communications Writer from October 1996 to June 2000, where they wrote and managed technical publications for accounting and financial management applications.

John Freedman earned their Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Technical Communications from San Jose State University, completing their studies from 1993 to 1996.
