Alex Muleiro, MSc has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Alex is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Digilent Inc. Since joining in 2019. Prior to this, they held various positions at NI (National Instruments) from 2001 to 2019, including Senior Group Manager, Engineering Group Manager, Senior Digital Design Engineer, Staff Digital Engineer, and Hardware Design Engineer. Alex was responsible for designing and architecting data acquisition boards using FPGAs. Alex also has experience as an intern at the Mexican Institute of Water Technology and the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE).

Alex Muleiro has an educational background in engineering management and electrical and electronics engineering. They obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Management from The University of Texas at Austin, with a duration from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Stanford University from 2014 to 2016 and obtained a degree of SCPM (Strategic Communication and Public Management) in Management. In the same year, they also completed a Certificate program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology focused on tackling the challenges of big data. In 2014, they furthered their education by completing a program at the University of Maryland in entrepreneurship/entrepreneurial studies, where they developed innovative ideas for new companies. Alex Muleiro's academic journey began at Universidad de las Américas Puebla from 1996 to 2001, where they achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Alex Muleiro has earned several certifications. They are certified as an Acting Decisively professional, obtained from LinkedIn in February 2023.
