Lancée en 2018, l’initiative Digital Africa a pour mission de renforcer la capacité des entrepreneurs numériques africains à concevoir et déployer à grande échelle des innovations de rupture au service de l’économie réelle. L’initiative rassemble un ensemble de partenaires de toutes nationalités engagés auprès des entrepreneurs numériques africains, au premier rang desquels se trouve l’Agence française de développement (AFD). Digital Africa a structuré un ensemble de programmes autour de trois domaines d’intervention : - Le renforcement de capacités et l’assistance technique directe aux start ups numériques à fort potentiel d’impact - La recherche de financements en Afrique et partout dans le monde et l’accès à ces derniers pour assurer le passage à l’échelle des innovations tech africaines - L’accompagnement de politiques publiques favorables aux entrepreneurs numériques innovants en Afrique -- Launched in 2018, Digital Africa's mission is to build the capacity of African tech and digital entrepreneurs to design and scale innovations for the real economy. The initiative brings together a set of partners of all nationalities committed to African digital entrepreneurs, at the forefront of which is the French Development Agency (AFD). Digital Africa has structured a set of programs around three areas of intervention: - Capacity building and direct technical assistance to digital start-ups with high impact potential - Searching for and accessing funding in Africa and around the world to ensure the scaling up of African tech innovations - Supporting public policies favorable to innovative digital entrepreneurs in Africa
