Ondra Witherspoon has extensive experience in various roles within the education and customer success industry. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as a Student Services Manager in the Overseas Military Division at the University of Phoenix-Online Campus. In this role, they led a team responsible for managing the entire student life cycle, with a focus on retention strategies and degree completion for STEM programs.
From 2007 to 2008, Witherspoon served as the Director of Student Services at Anthem College-Phoenix.
Starting in 2009, Witherspoon worked at Grand Canyon University as an Academic Advisor and Team Lead. Ondra was responsible for recruiting, advising, and retaining new, active, and re-entry students for various degree programs.
In 2012, Witherspoon joined The Art Institutes as a Virtual Advisor and Team Lead. Ondra managed student outreach initiatives and helped students achieve their educational goals by identifying and addressing barriers to their academic success.
Finally, from 2015 to 2018, Witherspoon was a Customer Success and Team Lead at Spear Education. Ondra managed a large customer base of medical practices and clinicians, focusing on retention, engagement, and renewal opportunities for premium subscription products. Witherspoon also cultivated relationships and helped build a culture of success and synergy within practices.
Ondra Witherspoon pursued a Master of Arts degree in English Rhetoric & Composition from 2019 to 2021 at Arizona State University. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1991, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Linguistics with a minor in E-commerce, also from Arizona State University.
