Kimmo Rousku

Kimmo Rousku has extensive experience in IT management and specialist roles within Finnish government agencies. Currently serving as the General Secretary of the VAHTI-board and Chief Senior Specialist at the Digi- ja väestötietovirasto since January 2020, Kimmo has held similar high-level positions at the Väestörekisterikeskus and Ministry of Finance from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, Kimmo worked in various roles at the State ICT Centre Valtori, including Deputy Director and Risk Management Director. Previous experience also includes positions at the State Treasury and the National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health, where Kimmo contributed as a project manager and senior expert. Education includes a vocational qualification in Information and Communications Technology from ATK-instituuutti, completed between 1986 and 1989.
