Erwin Gerritsen

Erwin Gerritsen has worked in the financial services industry since 1996. Erwin began their career at Equens (Interpay) as a Business Development Manager for New Business Services, before moving to Manager Products & Accounts for E-Commerce Services. Erwin then held the role of Product Manager for various products. In 2008, they joined Atos as a Program Manager for M&A, then as an Area Manager for the Middle East at Atos HQ in Paris, and finally as a Business Development Manager for High Tech Transactional Services. In 2012, they moved to Unifiedpost Group (PowertoPay) as Manager Payments Solutions. In 2018, they became an Independent Consultant & Contractor, and in 2021 they were appointed Chief Product Officer at damex.io. During their time at Xapo, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations, partner management and pending projects for Payment Operations, Reconciliation & Reporting, and Fraud and Risk Management. Erwin also participated in and/or led several strategic projects, such as SWIFT joining, principle memberships for both MasterCard and Visa, and restructuring of Compliance, Fraud & Risk management operations.

Erwin Gerritsen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering and Information technology from HTS Hilversum, followed by a Master of Science - MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Technische Hogeschool Eindhoven.
