Ray Lambe

Ray Lambe has over 30 years of work experience. Ray most recently worked at Digital Catapult, where they held the position of Chief Operating Officer from January 2021 until the present. Prior to that, they were the Director of Programme Delivery at Digital Catapult from February 2017 to January 2021.

Before joining Digital Catapult, Ray worked as a Director at RPL Programme Services from November 2013 to January 2017. Ray also served as a Programme Director at Serco from January 2012 to October 2013, where they delivered various change programmes within the company.

Earlier in their career, Ray held positions at Serco - for Businesslink Digital Service, where they worked as a Contract Director from May 2010 to December 2011 and as the Head of Operations to Deputy Programme Director (COO) from June 2006 to May 2010.

Ray began their career at Serco - National Physical Laboratory, where they started as a Scientific Officer and worked their way up to become a Business Leader. During this time, they completed the Serco Leadership Programme in 2005 and successfully introduced improved project management and PRINCE2 capabilities across the organization.

Ray Lambe attended Kingston University from 2002 to 2003 and obtained an MBA degree. Prior to that, they studied Physics with Astrophysics at Royal Holloway, University of London from 1987 to 1990 and earned a BSc degree.
