Sue McGuire

Sue McGuire is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in strategic partnership management, business development, and public service. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager at Digital Catapult since December 2018, Sue has also held significant roles such as Project Coordinator for the EU Horizon 2020 R&I Project and Chair of the Liverpool City Region Scrutiny Committee. Prior to these roles, Sue was a Councillor for Cambridge Ward in Southport, where extensive community engagement was a hallmark of service. Sue's career began as a Founding Partner at Independent Computer Support and included a notable tenure in Pre Sales Technical Support at Corel Corporation. As a Director at Blue Fountain Systems Limited, which now operates as an investment vehicle, Sue contributes to the company’s strategic direction. Education includes a Master of Public Administration from Ulster University and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biology from Newcastle University.
