Niels Nuyens

Niels Nuyens is a seasoned professional in the digital transformation and trade sectors, currently serving as the Founder of the Future International Trade (FIT) Alliance since February 2022, aiming to promote a standards-based electronic bill of lading across the shipping industry. Niels also holds positions as Chief Product Officer and Head of Digital Trade at the Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA), which focuses on advancing digitalization in global trade and represents about 70% of the world's containerized trade. Prior experience includes a Senior Manager role at Deloitte Digital, where Niels managed various projects related to digital tooling and strategies for major brands and companies, and a Head of Operations position at Repudo, overseeing technical development and project management. Niels began their career at Deloitte as a CRM Consultant, contributing to numerous projects across the telecommunications and transportation sectors. Niels holds a Master's degree in Information Management from Tilburg University, complemented by specialized training from Salesforce.com, Nyenrode Business University, and Epiphany courses.
