Wanjala ABUBAKAR has a diverse work experience in the field of languages and translation. Wanjala most recently worked as the Director at Baker's Foreign Languages Consultant Company since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Arabic Language consultant at the Foreign Diplomatic Mission in Kenya starting from March 2017, and also worked as a Freelance Arabic Language Consultant for translation and interpretation since January 2017.
Before moving into language consultancy, Wanjala worked as a Quality Analyst at Digital Divide Data (DDD) starting from January 2015. Wanjala'sresponsibilities included establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, developing business growth strategies, and ensuring timely and effective client communication.
Wanjala also gained experience in the diplomatic sector, working as an Entry Clearance Assistant at the British High Commission from January 2014 to January 2015. Prior to that, Wanjala worked at the Libyan Embassy as a Bilingual Translator/Administrator from January 2012 to March 2014, and then continued in the role of Bilingual Translator until an unspecified date in 2014.
Throughout their career, Wanjala has demonstrated strong language skills and a commitment to providing high-quality translation and interpretation services.
Wanjala Abubakar obtained a Master's degree in Religious Studies and Counselling from Kenya Methodist University, which they attended from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language from Islamic College Tripoli Libya, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Wanjala Abubakar also holds a certification as a KUDO Certified professional, which they obtained in January 2021 from KUDO.
