Allen Ruilova has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of CGI and animation. Allen started their career in 1995 as a Senior System Administrator at Cinesite Hollywood while completing their master's degree. After a year, they transitioned to full-time work and gained knowledge in managing NFS and NIS software on UNIX systems.
In 1997, Ruilova became a CGI Artist at Cinesite Hollywood, where they honed their skills in CGI effects techniques and practices. Allen then moved to Sony Pictures Imageworks in 1998 as a Senior FX TD, where they worked with talented artists and developers, improving their CGI skills and creating enhanced pipeline workflows.
From 2004 to 2015, Ruilova worked at DreamWorks Animation in various senior roles. Allen developed tools within Houdini or Maya, mentored artists and developers, and worked on shots for different shows. Additionally, they served as the Head of Effects for the Dreamworks Animation satellite studio in Bangalore, India, where they supervised and provided technical training to the effects team.
In 2015, Ruilova joined PIXOMONDO as an FX Artist/Developer. Allen worked with a team to integrate Houdini into the production pipeline and wrote Python scripts to publish assets/renders and submit jobs to the Shotgun and Deadline systems.
Subsequently, they worked as a Software Engineer at Double Negative from 2016 to 2020, focusing on developing software solutions. Allen then moved to Zoic Studios as a Sr Pipeline Analyst and Developer, where they utilized their expertise in pipeline analysis and development.
In 2021, Ruilova became an Unreal Developer at SGS & Co, specializing in Unreal Engine development. Allen is currently working as a Software Engineer at Digital Domain, where they apply their engineering skills to software development projects.

Allen Ruilova obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Allen later pursued a Master's Degree in the same field of study from the same university, from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Allen obtained certifications in C++ and Python from TestDome in July 2016.
