Tim (Tianyi) Liu has extensive experience in various roles related to audiovisual and telecommunication system design, project coordination, and business development. Tim (Tianyi) started their career as a Post Production Specialist at Jia-Tian Sheng Jing Cultural Communication Corp. Ltd. in 2007, followed by a role as a Post Production Specialist at DIGI-land studio in 2008. In 2010, they established their own company, Beijing Yi Audio Studio, where they served as the owner for a year. From 2013 to 2014, they interned at Acoustical Design Collaborative LTD., where they led and supported multiple projects in recording studios, classrooms, state courts, senior care centers, chapels, and sanctuaries. In 2014, they worked as an Acoustic Engineer at Design and Integration (Baltimore), responsible for acoustic analysis and AV system design. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Syska Hennessy Group, first as a Consultant and later as a Design Engineer, specializing in Audiovisual and Telecommunication system designs using Revit and CAD drafting. Tim (Tianyi)'sresponsibilities included product research, project coordination with architecture firms, and the design of major audiovisual and communications infrastructures. Currently, they are the Vice President of Business Development at Digital Domain, a position they have held since November 2018. Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated their ability to manage projects, lead teams, and successfully grow businesses.

Tim (Tianyi) Liu pursued their education in the field of audiovisual communications and acoustics, recording, and production. Tim (Tianyi) obtained a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians from Capital Normal University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Later, from 2012 to 2015, Tim completed two Master's degrees. The first was a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Acoustics, with a concentration in Recording and Production from The Johns Hopkins University. Simultaneously, they also earned a Master's degree in Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. In 2016, Tim obtained a professional certification called CTS (Certified Technology Specialist, Audio Visual Industry) from InfoComm International.
