Shouq Darwish

Shouq Darwish is a System Developer and Database Administrator at Smart Dubai since December 2017, specializing in SQL administration, access control for BI reports, and database backup and restoration in the Smart Infrastructure Sector. Prior experience includes a Software Intern position at GE Power, where Shouq contributed to the development of two iOS mobile applications focused on project tracking and promoting a competitive environment, along with backend development on an SQL relational database using the Predix platform. While pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Minor in Engineering Management at the American University of Sharjah from 2013 to 2017, Shouq served in several roles, including Teacher Assistant, Sports Coordinator for the Computer Club, and Peer Leader, demonstrating a commitment to academic support and extracurricular engagement.
