Aygün Yıldırım

Aygün Aydin is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta since April 2021, focusing on user data protection and privacy within Meta's ecosystem. Prior to this role, Aygün was the Chief Technology Officer at fable+, where the company was acquired by Accenture. Aygün also spent over a decade at Turkcell, holding several key positions including Head of Engineering for Digital Services, where leadership involved supporting engineering functionality for innovative services serving millions of users. Aygün's academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Doğuş University, and further education from Harvard Business School, along with a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
