Talis Putnins

Talis Putnins serves as Chief Scientist at Digital Finance CRC since September 2021 and holds the position of Professor at both UTS: University of Technology Sydney and Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, as well as Research Associate at the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies, all since 2010. Additionally, Talis Putnins was a Professorial Fellow at The University of Edinburgh from January 2019 to January 2022, and held visiting roles at Columbia Business School and New York University in 2013. Talis Putnins earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Financial Economics from the University of Sydney and possesses both a Bachelor of Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering (IT&T) with First Class Honours and University Medal from the University of Adelaide.
