Jennifer Hsu

Jennifer Hsu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Jennifer started their career as a Junior Data Analyst at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they analyzed qualitative and quantitative data sets and summarized academic literature. Jennifer also worked as a Student Assistant during this time.

Jennifer then moved on to Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands, where they served as a Public Affairs & Advocacy Intern and Student Data Manager. In this role, they assisted with event planning, contacted supporters, managed databases, and organized college campus/community activities.

After that, Jennifer joined the Bachelor's of Social Work Organization as a Social Media Liaison, where they managed social media platforms.

Jennifer then became involved with Generation Action, RIO at University of Hawai‘i at Manoa as Co-President, assisting with event planning and leading general meetings.

Jennifer also worked as a Manoa Peer Advisor for the Mānoa Peer Advisors Program, providing advising services and guidance to incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Jennifer gained further experience as a Software Developer Intern at RadGrad, where they designed and built a prototype internship search website and developed a recommendation system based on student skills and interests.

Jennifer went on to work as a Software Developer at eWorld Enterprise Solutions, Inc., where they contributed to software development projects.

Currently, Jennifer is employed at Digital Foundry as a Software Engineer.

In addition to their professional experience, Jennifer also has leadership experience as the President of ICSpark, where they oversaw club activities and provided mentorship to students in web development.

Jennifer Hsu attended Aiea High School from 2012 to 2016. After graduating from high school, they went on to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2016 to 2021. At the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Computer Science.
