Touraj Riazi is an accomplished professional in the fields of digital governance, public sector modernization, and cybersecurity. Currently a member of the Technical Committee at the Digital Governance Council since July 2022, Touraj contributes expertise in multiple areas including connected cities and data governance. As an advisor for the Canadian Bankers Association and previously serving as Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Policy to Ontario's Associate Minister of Digital Government, Touraj played a pivotal role in implementing Ontario’s first Digital Data Strategy and advancing the province's digital initiatives like the Digital ID Program. Experience at the Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat involved significant contributions to the design and implementation of modernization strategies. Previous roles at the NATO Association of Canada included policy analysis and project management, delivering extensive publications and high-profile events. Touraj holds a Master of Arts in International Security from Sciences Po and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Concordia University.
