Dr. Namita Singh

Dr. Namita Singh's work experience includes serving as the Director of Strategy, Knowledge Management and MEL at Digital Green since July 2020. In this role, they lead strategy design based on data analytics and program interventions, oversees the implementation of organizational strategy, and designs and manages research projects with academic and research institutions. Dr. Namita is also responsible for leading gender transformational and climate resilience approaches across projects. Prior to this, they temporarily assumed the leadership of Digital Green Foundation, India as the Lead of Strategy and Business Development, Asia from June 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they supported all program, finance, and HR functions and led business development efforts in South Asia, securing grants from major institutions. Dr. Namita also served as a Research and Programme Development Consultant at Video Volunteers from November 2008 to October 2009, where they planned and implemented participatory projects and conducted trainings for youth community media producers. Dr. Singh began their career as a Participatory Video Trainer at Drishti Media, Arts and Human Rights from September 2007 to October 2008, where they managed and mentored community media teams and redesigned training programs for partner NGOs in India.
