Josh Nelson

Josh Nelson's work experience begins in 2012 when they served in the US Navy as an Aviational Structural Mechanic until 2016. In 2017, they worked as an Office Assistant at Santa Fe College, providing customer service and advising on student scheduling and VA benefits. Later that year, they became an IT Technician at Florida State College--Jacksonville until 2018.

In 2018, Josh joined Black Knight where they held multiple roles including Incident Responder, Network Delivery, and Incident Responder & SOC Analyst until 2019. Josh then moved on to Fidelity National Financial as an Information Security Analyst until 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, Josh worked at Nemours as an Information Security Analyst. Currently, they are employed at Digital Hands as an IT Security Associate Analyst, starting in November 2021.

Josh Nelson attended Florida State College at Jacksonville from 2017 to 2018 and obtained an Associate of Science degree in IT Security. Josh then continued their education at the same institution and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Systems Networking & Telecommunications from 2018 to 2020.

Additionally, Josh Nelson has obtained several certifications from CompTIA. In August 2018, they received the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification. In March 2018, they obtained the CompTIA A+ ce Certification. Josh further expanded their certifications in August 2018 with the CompTIA Network+ ce Certification. In February 2019, they achieved the CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification as well as the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification.
