Matt Cornish currently serves as the Programme Director for the Digital Services for Patients and the Public programme at Digital Health and Care Wales, focusing on the NHS Wales App and citizen empowerment within the health and care system. Previously, Matt held managerial positions in urgent care and medicine clinical services at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, respectively. Matt's experience also includes significant roles within the UK Ministry of Defence, developing cyber security skills and managing parachuting training, as well as leadership positions in the Royal Air Force, where responsibilities included overseeing operations, policy development, and leadership education. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies from King's College London, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, and degrees in Physical Education from Loughborough University.
