Louise Anena

Louise Anena has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Louise currently works at Digital Infuzion as the Learning & Development Lead, where they are responsible for managing and executing HR administration, employee development, compliance, and employee relations. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist at the same company, where they handled various HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee engagement.

Before their role at Digital Infuzion, Louise worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). In this role, they provided coaching and advice on HR policies and procedures, designed and managed an onboarding program, and led training for the SAIS student employment program.

Louise also gained experience as a Human Resources Assistant at Williams & Connolly LLP, where they supported HR projects, created workforce analytics reports, and facilitated internal continuing legal education programs. Louise also worked as a Temp Human Resources Administrative Assistant at DLA Piper, where they supported recruitment and performed audits for compliance.

Additionally, Louise has interned at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants and served as the Director of Communications at the Society for Human Resources Management - ODU Chapter.

Louise Anena, SHRM-SCP, MSc, obtained a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in August 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Management from Old Dominion University in December 2011. Louise also holds a High School Diploma from the International School of Uganda, earned in 2007. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in August 2017.
