Umair Wolid is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for Roar Global, Umair focuses on expanding the market for Facebook products in Sri Lanka as an Authorized Sales Partner. In addition, Umair co-founded and leads Newswire, Sri Lanka's largest online news aggregator. As the President of the Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka, a position held since July 2022, Umair contributes to the digital marketing landscape. Previous roles include Vice President of Marketing at DigitalX and Head of Marketing and Content at Wijeya Newspapers Ltd. Umair holds a Chartered Marketer designation from CIM and an MBA from Buckinghamshire New University.
