Joe Gonzales

Vice President Of Operations & Community Engagement at Digital NEST

Joe Gonzales is the current Associate Director of Program Operations at Digital NEST. Prior to this, they worked as a Service and Engagement Executive at Target from January 2021 to July 2021.Joe has also worked as an HR/Payroll Clerk at V&V Farms from February 2010 to October 2013 where they were responsible for formulating and implementing organization-wide standards for HR policies and procedures. Joe also secured a $30K+ cost savings through careful management of worker's compensation cases. Furthermore, they authored the Injury & Illness Prevention Program Guidebook and rewrote the Personnel Handbook. From October 2013 to April 2020, Joe served as District Executive at Central Coast YMCA. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the district, including program development, volunteer engagement, staff supervision, budget management, and community relations. Joe’s key accomplishments include increasing district-wide membership by 15% and developing and implementing a successful marketing campaign that generated over $100K in new revenue.

Joe Gonzales has a Bachelor's degree in Recreation & Tourism Management from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts - AA in General Studies from Hartnell College.
