Briza Diaz

Briza has spent the last several years working within education in various capacities. With each role, she has gained a new perspective of the school system, feeding her passion for education research. Combined with her background in Applied Anthropology, she has learned of the importance of stakeholder voice when supporting underserved communities. Before joining Digital Promise, Briza worked for an educational nonprofit in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she worked with local districts, teachers, and families to support students and families to increase equity in the classroom. She looks forward to continuing this work through her projects as an education researcher here at Digital Promise.
