Marilys Galindo

Prior to joining Digital Promise, Dr. Marilys Galindo developed, launched, and administered the micro-credential program for the Institute of Excellence in Early Care and Education at Palm Beach State College as the Early Learning Micro-credential manager. Dr. Galindo is passionate about promoting and fostering innovative teaching and learning environments conducive to academic excellence, a passion which was emphasized by the creation of the micro-credential program. Dr. Galindo has more than 18 years of experience in the field of education. She has served as a teacher, department chair, curriculum writer, curriculum specialist, instructional designer, and manager. Marilys earned her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Florida International University; a Master’s degrees in curriculum, instruction, and technology from Nova Southeastern University and another in educational leadership and administration from Florida State University; and her Doctor of Education in curriculum and instruction from Florida International University.
