Victoria has a background in philosophy, with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Victoria has a wealth of experience in research, policy analysis, and ethics, having worked in various roles such as Grants Coordinator, Policy Analyst, and Quality Evaluator/Manager. Currently, Victoria serves as the Data Governance & Ethics Lead at the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, overseeing controlled access management and providing strategic advice on sensitive research data management. Prior to this, Victoria worked as an Ethics Officer at the Health Research Ethics Authority, managing Health Research Ethics Boards. Victoria's commitment to ethical research practices and governance is evident throughout their professional experiences.
