NOC Engineer (shift Lead) at Digital Space

George Lyronis has extensive work experience in the field of IT and networking. GEORGE started their career as a Digital Terminal Operator in the Hellenic Army in 2006. Afterward, they worked as a Sales and IT Consultant at TMP Supplies, where they provided guidance and solutions for network projects and increased sales target. GEORGE then moved on to working as an IT Support Technician at Service Tech in Greece, Crete, where they provided technical support. Following that, they joined DX Solutions as a Test Analyst, responsible for testing processes and systems. GEORGE then worked as a Network Engineer at Marine Entertainment Systems Ltd (MESL), focusing on network administration. At Timico, George held various roles, including NOC Engineer and 1st Line Technical Support. Their most recent position was as a NOC Engineer (Shift Lead) at Digital Space.

George Lyronis has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering (Honours) from the University of Hertfordshire, which they received in 2003. In 2005, they earned an MSc in Information Engineering from City, University of London. From 2013 to 2015, they attended TAFE NSW and obtained various certifications and diplomas in Information Technology Networking and Network Security. In 2020, George obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification from Cisco. GEORGE also holds additional certifications in IT Service Management, VMware vSphere, network security, and Cisco Meraki.
