Shawn Canfield, LPC

Shawn Canfield, LPC has a long history of work experience in the security and asset protection field. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a District Loss Prevention Manager for Footstar, where they were responsible for leading Loss Prevention and Investigation for 12 stores in Manhattan and Long Island, overseeing compliance of cash and inventory control, and developing 120 associates. From 2004 to 2006, they were an Asset Protection Manager for Walgreens, where they managed physical security for 3 distribution centers, led 6-15 security officers and 1 security supervisor at each site, and directed management on Asset Protection related topics to reduce loss or risk to the company. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Safety & Asset Protection Manager for Ahold, where they drove Safety & Asset Protection programs for 2 distribution centers, managed the buildings security teams, and Safety Programs, and developed positive working relationships with 3rd party vendors. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been a District Manager for Family Dollar.

Shawn Canfield, LPC obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Jamestown Community College between 1995 and 1997. Shawn also obtained a Project Management Simplified certification from LinkedIn in October 2016, a Loss Prevention Certification (LPC) from The Loss Prevention Foundation in July 2015, and an S2 Security Certification from S2 Security Corporation in October 2016.
