Raphaël Brunschwig

Raphaël Brunschwig serves as the Managing Director of the Locarno Film Festival since March 2013, overseeing a yearly budget of 18 million and a core team of over 50, which expands to 900 during the festival. Responsibilities include financial management, fostering private sponsorship and public funding from approximately 200 partners, promoting digital innovation, managing political and institutional relations, and commercial development. Additionally, Brunschwig holds multiple roles, including Chairman at Eventi letterari Monte Verità, Co-President of Swiss Top Events, Board Member of the Eranos Foundation, Steering Committee Member at digitalswitzerland, and Executive Board Member of the Leopard Club. Prior professional experience includes a decade at Publisuisse S.A. as Project Manager Crossmedia and Senior Media Planner.
