René Hüsler

René Hüsler is a seasoned academic and industry leader in computer science with extensive experience in research and education. Currently serving as the Director of the Department of Computer Science and Dean at HSLU Hochschule Luzern since October 2005, René has held various prominent roles in several organizations including being an Executive Committee Member of digitalswitzerland and a Board Member of the Swiss Blockchain Federation. Previous roles include serving as the Head of Research and Development at Crypto AG and Head of Institute at HTA Luzern. René Hüsler holds a Dr. sc. techn. ETH in Computer Science and a dipl. Inf. Ing. ETH from ETH Zürich, alongside an additional diploma in Informatics from HTL Brugg/Windisch.
