Thomas Gassenbauer

Thomas Gassenbauer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and insurance sectors. Currently serving as a Steering Committee Member for digitalswitzerland and as the Country Manager for Cognizant in Switzerland, Thomas Gassenbauer holds the position of Country Managing Director and is a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, Thomas Gassenbauer led the Banking and Insurance business for Central Europe at Cognizant and held various roles at IBM over a span of 23 years, including Global Client Director and IT Project & Service Delivery Manager. Thomas Gassenbauer began their career at Novartis, where responsibilities included IT Project & Service Delivery Management. Academically, Thomas Gassenbauer earned a Master's Degree in Business Economics from the University of Basel and has attained several professional certifications in project management and executive education from prestigious institutions. Currently enrolled at ZfU Center for Enterprise Management AG, Thomas Gassenbauer is pursuing a certification in Corporate Governance.
