Tim Mariano

Tim Mariano, MD, PhD, MSc, SMIEEE, currently serves as an Attending Psychiatrist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since October 2019 and holds the position of Co-Chair for the Clinician Education Task Group at the Digital Therapeutics Alliance since January 2023. In addition, Tim Mariano is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and an Associate Investigator at the VA RR&D Center for Neurorestoration and Neurotechnology. Previous roles include Vice President of Medical Strategy at Woebot Health and Medical Director of Late Stage Clinical Development at Sage Therapeutics. Tim Mariano has also held teaching positions as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and as an Attending Psychiatrist at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from Harvard University, Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford.
