Geoffrey Lyons has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Geoffrey began their career as an intern at Allegheny County in 2009. In 2010, they joined Mick's North Hills Chrysler Jeep as a Quality Control specialist, where they worked until 2013. During that time, in 2013, they also served as a Student Software Engineer at the NPS Division of Fire Management and Aviation.

In 2013, Geoffrey joined Appia, a part of Digital Turbine, as a Technical Account Manager, where they worked until 2015. Geoffrey then transitioned to Digital Turbine itself, where they held multiple positions. Geoffrey started as a Senior Technical Account Manager in 2015 and then took on the role of Project Manager in 2016. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Product Owner, and subsequently, they were promoted to Product Manager until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Product Manager at Digital Turbine, starting in May 2022.

Geoffrey Lyons began their education in 2007 at PennWest California, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, with a focus on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Emergency Management. Geoffrey completed this program in 2011.

After completing their undergraduate studies, in 2011, Geoffrey enrolled at North Carolina State University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Geospatial Information Sciences and Technology. Geoffrey successfully completed this program in 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Geoffrey has also obtained several certifications. Geoffrey became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance in March 2019. Geoffrey has also completed various courses related to their field of study, such as "Getting Started with Geodatabase Topology (for ArcGIS 10)," "Understanding Map Projections and Coordinate Systems," and "Working with Geodatabase Domains and Subtypes (for ArcGIS 10)" from the Environmental Systems Research Institute. The specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not available.
