Jonathan Kittrell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jonathan began their career as a Production Lead at Fernhill Partners from 2006 to 2008. Afterwards, they worked at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as a Media Specialist from 2008 to 2010, and then as a Project Manager from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Jonathan co-founded Perryhill Produce, where they developed meal kits for online and subscription grocers and managed product branding, online presence, and social media marketing until 2014.

Jonathan then joined General Assembly in 2015, where they first completed the UX Design Immersive program and later served as a Lead Instructor for the UX Design course from August to October 2017.

From 2015 to 2020, Jonathan worked at Mobile Posse, initially as a Product Designer, where they established a UX and technical approach for a revenue-driven content strategy. Jonathan then transitioned to a Product Manager role, where they grew revenue by 300% and user engagement by 25%, launched new distribution channels, and handled publishing business development and account management. In their last role at Mobile Posse, Jonathan was a Senior Product Manager, overseeing multiple projects and achieving significant milestones such as launching DiscoverBar, which generated $4M in revenue with limited resources.

Currently, Jonathan is at Digital Turbine as a Senior Product Manager, where they launched and operates the Essentials, DT’s first content discovery product for a post-paid operator. Jonathan also merged three DT products into a single platform, improving efficiency and removing growth barriers.

Jonathan Kittrell attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Media and Art Education. Additionally, they obtained certifications in CSPO from the Scrum Alliance and User Experience Design from General Assembly. No specific dates for obtaining the certifications are provided.
